Copyright Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
We respect the rights of creators and expect everyone in AI Zen Garden to do the same. We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), and we close the accounts of repeat infringers.
For a quick report about anything else, use the report button (the flag) in the garden, or write to [email protected].
Our designated agent
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to:

Reporting infringement
Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed (or, for several works, a representative list).
- The material you say infringes, and enough to find it: a link to its spot in
the garden (the “copy a link” button gives one, like
https://zen-garden.ai/?x=12800&y=4600), and its title if it has one. - Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. Consider whether the use might be fair use before you send a notice.
When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable the material promptly, and tell the person who placed it, including a copy of the notice (we may leave out your personal contact details).
Counter-notices
If something of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send our designated agent a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- What was removed, and where it was before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district of your address (or, if you’re outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice, or their agent.
We’ll send a copy of your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they’ve filed a court action to stop the infringement, we’ll restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we received your counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
We suspend and close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others’ copyrights.
